Fort Myers Brewing Company

Known for craft beer, food trucks, live music and family- and -pet-friendly fun, Fort Myers Brewing Company is a go-to destination for a true taste of Southwest Florida’s craft brewing scene. 

Established in 2013, Fort Myers Brewing was the first microbrewery to open in Lee County and continues to lead Southwest Florida’s surging craft beer movement with a signature line of award-winning brews and seltzers. At the taproom, visitors can find food trucks onsite seven days a week with regular live music and special events. The brewery offers weekly highlights including Flights & Bites, Trivia Night, Burger Night and Food Truck Rallies, and hosts special events and signature beer festivals throughout the year. 

When Fort Myers Brewing Company’s Co-founders Rob and Jen Whyte moved to Southwest Florida, they found untapped potential for a local brewery in Fort Myers. Their aspirations were modest – a microbrewery serving a few drafts from a small tasting room. The craft beer movement in Lee County has taken off since they took the plunge.  

Over the past decade, the brewery has grown from a 400-square-foot taproom to one of the largest craft brewers in the state with a 22,000-square-foot operation and signature line of flagship beers and seltzers in addition to seasonal brews and small batch specialties. A four-vessel, 30-barrel system churns out beer for their tasting room, while packaging and distribution bring brews to 1,600 local bars, restaurants and retail outlets.  

The brewery’s beers are winners of multiple prestigious awards, most recently including gold at the 2022 World Beer Cup, golds at the Best Florida Beer Competition and Great American Beer Festival, and Grand National Champion at the 2021 and 2022 U.S. Open Hard Seltzer Championships.
